Stockholm’s First and Sweden’s Largest Latin American Film Festival
Welcome to the twelfth edition of the Panoramica, September 22 – 27, 2026
Mexico in focus
With a long cinematic tradition and a new generation of internationally acclaimed filmmakers, Mexico has one of the most important film industries in Latin America and on the international film scene. In addition, Mexico has become an important destination for international productions and global streaming platforms. In 2025, streaming giant Netflix announced a $1 billion investment in film and series production in Mexico over the next four years.
This year’s edition of Panoramica presents five contemporary Mexican films.
