Festival closing with VeraSol K-pop Choir
We are closing this year’s festival with a special musical performance by VeraSol K-popkör, led by conductor Veronica Hwang. Before the screening, the choir will perform as part of our festival closing celebration.
VeraSol is Sweden’s first and only K-pop choir and is run by VeraSol Group, a Korean language and culture academy. The choir was founded in 2022 by a group of dedicated K-pop fans, under the direction of Korean choir conductor Veronica Hwang and with support from ABF Stockholm.
Since its founding, VeraSol has collaborated with the Asian Film Festival and performed at the festival every year. The choir has also participated in major cultural events such as NärCon and Comic Con.
💜 The choir welcomes new members every semester, regardless of background, age, language or musical experience.
