Zita Folkets Bio is the oldest autonomous cinema in Stockholm. The cinema’s task is to show quality films for both adults and children that do not usually appear on the bigger cinemas.
About the film
Noel Nutels spent his whole life as a doctor working with indigenous peoples in different regions of Brazil. From the 1940s to the 1970s, he led numerous medical expeditions that he filmed on 16mm. His ideas and the images he produced are brought together in this documentary to denounce the historic massacre of native communities.
