Zita Folkets Bio is the oldest autonomous cinema in Stockholm. The cinema’s task is to show quality films for both adults and children that do not usually appear on the bigger cinemas.
About the film
In the past, when there were no whites, we used to hunt with our yamayxop spirits. The whites came, cut down the trees, dried up the rivers and chased the animals away. Today, our tall trees are gone, the whites have surrounded us and our lands are tiny. But our Yamayxop are very strong and they taught us the stories and songs of our ancestors who walked here.
