About the film

Yermén, is a transsexual woman in her mid-thirties with a gypsy and Chilean indigena background. She works as a spiritual guide and tarot reader. Yermén dreams of changing her gender and decides to try her luck in a TV show where she would have the sex change operation for free in exchange of showing the entire process. Here, she meets an enigmatic black immigrant who works at a strip club in the center of Santiago and dreams to be Naomi Campbell’s look-alike.
