About the film
Karamakate was once a powerful shaman in the Amazon. Today is the last survivor of his people, and lives in voluntary isolation in the depths of the jungle. But his life is turned upside down the day that Evan, an American ethnobotanist, arrives to his remote hideout looking for the yakruna, a powerful hidden plant, able to teach how to dream. Karamakate agrees to go with Evan and together they embark on a journey to the heart of the jungle in which the past, present and future get confused, and in which the shaman will recover his lost memories.
