About the film
December is a temporal journey and an immersive, atmospheric, and dramatic reconstruction of the events that unfolded in Argentina during December 2001. Using only archival footage recorded throughout that month, the film not only revisits but reawakens in the present a crisis without precedent: a popular uprising that forever altered Argentina’s history.
