Zita Folkets Bio is the oldest autonomous cinema in Stockholm. The cinema’s task is to show quality films for both adults and children that do not usually appear on the bigger cinemas.
About the film
A group of filmmakers arrive in Santiago de Chuco, birthplace of the poet César Vallejo. With the excuse of a casting, the filmmakers occupy the main theater and the local inhabitants arrive, unveiling little by little their lives embraced by the poet’s aura. All of them, inhabitants and filmmakers, become confused among verses, stories and poetry.
