About the film

Lila, a silent but determined twelve-year-old schoolgirl from a remote mountainous region in the middle of nowhere, is determined to find her father, a man about whom she knows almost nothing, not even his name. All she knows is that he once worked installing TV antennas, got her mother pregnant and then disappeared. After Lila’s repeated attempts to run away in order to search for her father, first on horseback, then stealing a car, her science teacher Jimena promises to help her reach her goal. In his artfully handled feature debut, and with the collaboration of Sebastián Ferrero’s widescreen lensing, Matías Lucchesi tell us a story about a young heroine who overcomes her loneliness through determination.
