She Doesn’t Want to Sleep Alone

About the film

Amanda is a young woman whose life is quiet and monotonous. Thanks to the help of her absent father, she doesn’t have to worry about money. Perhaps her only need is to find, each night, a lover that can help her pass the hours accompanied. Because Amanda has a problem: if she’s alone she can’t sleep. Suddenly, without prior warning, Amanda’s life takes a turn when she receives a phone call from Anita, the neighbour of her grandmother Dolores —a retired actress with whom she hasn’t kept a close relationship. It has been a week since anybody heard from her; she does not open the door nor answer the phone. It is not the first time Dolores does this. However, because Amanda’s father is away —he’s her only known relative—, she is forced to take action. From one day to the next, Amanda’s universe is transgressed.
