About the film
Deep in the mushroom-rich forests of Mexico, two women from Indigenous communities have become mycologists. This documentary follows their unusual journeys, driven by the world of fungi, as they seek to reconcile the past and present while reimagining the future for themselves and for the changing world they inhabit.
