Zita Folkets Bio is the oldest autonomous cinema in Stockholm. The cinema’s task is to show quality films for both adults and children that do not usually appear on the bigger cinemas.
About the film
Five women get together to have tea once a month uninterrupted for 60 years. The passing of the years has left its mark on each of them, but appears to have left their friendship intact. The women sit around a table and freely express their thoughts on their day-to-day lives, evoke acquaintances and analyze their common past. Maite Alberdi makes us feel like well-meaning observers in this intimate get-together into which the outside world inevitably creeps in.
