About the film

Sofia is a professor of an industrial city on the coast of Chile. Just as she is in the process of adopting a child she reads that a newborn has been found dead in a landfill. The woman becomes obsessed with the fate of the creature, which legally has no right to a name, or to be buried. Determined to change this situation, Sofia initiates a legal struggle that becomes an intimate journey of personal transformation, with devastating consequences for her life.
